Dieser Psychothriller schildert die Taten eines geisteskranken Serienmörders (Thomas Giegerich) und dessen neue Opfer Clive und Melanie Thompson. Clive (Andreas Vögler) und Melanie (Gina Petrocchi) haben ein gutes Leben. Sie haben gute Jobs, eine perfekte Beziehung und kosten ihr Leben voll und ganz aus. Eines Morgens auf dem Weg zur Bäckerei kreuzt sich ihr Weg mit dem des Serienmörders und sie landen auf Kollisionskurs in dem verdrehten Plan des Killers.

Ein Anruf eines Mitarbeiters lässt Melanie spät in der Nacht zurück zur Arbeit gehen, und der Killer erkennt die Möglichkeit, seinen Plan in Gang zu setzen. Melanie erwacht betäubt in dem Keller des Killers. Als Detektiv Franz (Ellen Grell) und Detektiv Winters (Fred Lobin) beginnen den Fall zu untersuchen, spricht jeder Beweis für die Schuld Clives. Die zwei Detektive verlieren auf der Suche nach Melanies Entführer die Spur, konzentrieren sich auf Clive und hoffen darauf, dass er sie zu Melanie führen wird.
Beunruhigt durch die Detektive beginnt Clive selbst, mit Flugblättern nach Melanie zu suchen und hängt diese überall in der Stadt auf, in der Hoffnung, dass jemand Informationen hat, die ihm bei der Suche nach seiner Freu helfen werden. In seinen Bemühungen auf der Suche nach Melanie erhält er Unterstützung durch ihren Bruder Vincent (Nikolai Knackmuss). Doch als die Dinge außer Kontrolle geraten, eskaliert Alles auf eine komplett neue Ebene der Selbstfindung und dem Verständnis, dass ein Moment alles ändern kann.

A call from a work colleague asking Melanie to return to work late at night presents the Killer with the opportunity to set his plan into motion. Melanie awakens to find herself drugged and in the killers basement. When Detective Franz (Ellen Grell), and Detective Winters (Fred Lobin) start to investigate the case, all the evidence seems to point in Clive's direction. The two Detectives are thrown off the search for Melanie's abductor, concentrating on Clive, hoping he will lead them to Melanie.
Clive distraught by the Detectives starts to print missing persons fliers and hangs them all over town in the hope that someone has information that can help him find his wife. In his efforts he gets the help of Melanie's brother Vincent (Nikolai Knackmuss) to help him in his search. But when things spiral out of control they escalate to a whole new level of self discovery and the understanding that one moment can change everything.
